William Saunders takes up his new role as Colchester City Organist, bringing a celebrated career as a concert organist, conductor, and educator to the city. Renowned for imaginative programming, premieres of contemporary works, and critically acclaimed recordings, he has performed across the UK, Europe, and North America. William has held leadership roles including Director of Music at The Royal Hospital School and leads innovative projects such as Sing Up Suffolk, combining performance, education, and outreach to inspire audiences and musicians of all ages.
