The organ is in the Moot Hall of Colchester Town Hall, High Street, Colchester, Essex, CO1 1PJ, UK.
The Moot Hall is on the second floor of the building, accessed via the main staircase or via lift. Please be aware that, as of July 2022 the Town Hall lift has been temporarily repaired but some of the lift buttons are not working. So if you plan to use the lift to access the Moot Hall please make contact with the Town Hall staff on arrival who will advise further.
The Town Hall is well served by local buses stopping on the High Street, and is about a 10 minute walk from Colchester Town railway station and a 30 minute walk from Colchester North station. Several car parks are within walking distance.
The best time to see the organ is during recitals and concerts, but it is often possible to visit the Moot Hall at other times (when the Hall is not in use) by signing in at the front desk of the Town Hall.
