The Moot Hall Organ is situated in the Moot Hall on the second floor of Colchester Town Hall. Access is via the main staircase or via the lift. Colchester Town Hall is fully accessible.

The Town Hall is well served by local buses stopping on the High Street, and is about a 10 minute walk from Colchester Town railway station and a 30 minute walk from Colchester North station. Several car parks are within walking distance.

The best time to see the organ is during recitals and concerts, but it is often possible to visit the Moot Hall at other times, when the Hall is not in use, by signing in at the front desk of the Town Hall.
