Programmes announced for Moot Hall Organ recitals, January-March 2020

The complete programme for this autumn’s Moot Hall Organ recitals can now be downloaded via the link below. All recitals start at 1pm; admission is free with retiring collection for the Friends of the Moot Hall Organ.

Distinguished organist David Poulter (Royal Hospital School, Holbrook) makes his first visit to the Moot Hall on Tuesday 14 January. David was until recently the organist at Liverpool Cathedral and is a well known recitalist throughout the UK.

On Tuesday 11 February, William Baldry (St Mary-le-Tower, Ipswich) plays a varied programme of 19th and 20th century organ music.

Ian Ray (Hon Borough Organist) returns on Tuesday 10 March to play a selection of Josef Rheinberger’s Monologues for organ Op 162 and a favourite piano piece by Beethoven.
