FLORIAN PAGITSCH: As a graduate of the ‘Mozarteum’ in Salzburg (organ) and the University for Music in Vienna (piano, musicology) he was a prize winner at various international organ competitions including the International Franz Liszt Competition (Budapest/Hungary 1978) and the International Anton Bruckner Competition for Improvisation (Linz/Austria 1986).

Besides a recording with all the toccatas of Johann Ernst Eberlin, his latest CD recordings are produced with MDG records in a series called ‘Organ Landscapes’ and feature historical instruments in Salzburg and Karnten. Florian Pagitsch is also Organ Professor at the Vienna University for Music and Performing Arts. He has performed more than 550 recitals in Festivals all over Europe, Australia, China, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore and the USA.
